Redeem, the leading mobile phone recycling and re-commerce company in Europe, is delighted to announce that it has been recognised by a number of leading business awards: the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, What Mobile Awards 2015’s Best Recycling Service and Best Corporate Social Responsibility at the 2015 Best of the Best Business Awards.
Published on 6 December 2015, the 19th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain's private companies with the fastest-growing sales over three years. The league table and awards programme is sponsored by Virgin, Barclays, BDO and BGF, and is compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company. Redeem’s revenues have quadrupled in the last four years, with £80m generated for the year ended March 2015.
In addition, Redeem has been recognised by two more leading industry awards. Redeem’s consumer brand Envirofone has won the award for Best Recycling Service, at the What Mobile Awards 2015. Envirofone is the longest established of the UK mobile phone recyclers and since 2005 has given cash to over 4 million customers in return for their mobiles. Redeem was also named winner of the Best Corporate Social Responsibility category at the 2015 Best of the Best Business Awards. The Best of the Best Business Awards honour the outstanding achievements of dynamic local businesses and entrepreneurs across each county of the United Kingdom.
Redeem provides recycling and re-commerce services for mobile phones across three channels: direct to consumer (via the Envirofone brand), business to business and white label solutions, in 24 countries around the world. It extends the life cycle of mobile phones and laptops by recovering and reusing over 90% of the equipment it processes. Redeem has been working with mobile network operators for 20 years, including O2, Three, Vodafone, Telia Sonera and Bell Canada.
Trevor Bayley, Chairman of Redeem said,
“We are delighted to be recognised by these three leading industry accolades. These awards underline the success of our business strategy as well as our commitment to helping other organisations with their CSR work. We’re proud to rank alongside some really exciting companies and look forward to continued strong growth in the years to come.”
